Albertans’ Views on Climate and Energy
(May 28, 2026)
BRC-Canada commissioned Probe Research to survey 1,484 Alberta adults on their views on energy and the environment. The May 2026 polling reveals strong, broadly held support for renewable energy development across the province, with two-thirds of Albertans saying they want more wind and solar projects built in or near their communities, and the same proportion calling on the provincial government to do more to encourage emissions-free energy sources.
