Obtain Final Approval

Obtaining final approval could involve very different things for different companies; it could involve an intensive review, or it could resemble a formality. Where your own process falls on this spectrum will depend on corporate structure and culture and the level of past engagement and approvals.

It is possible that you have obtained prior approvals from the ultimate decision-maker at stage 3 and stage 7. Alternatively, this stage may be the first point at which the ultimate decision-maker sees the economic analysis and other components of your proposal. Ideally, you will have obtained provisional approval as part of stage 7, and this final approval (if any) involves a brief review of key terms and conditions, especially to the extent of any changes from what was approved previously. Otherwise, please refer to the information in stage 7 to understand what this stage might entail.
