His work focused on industrial environmental disclosure, industry response to the energy transition, and scaling a Parks Canada initiative.

Jason is the program manager for the BRC-Canada. Before moving to the BRC-Canada, he worked as a senior analyst in the Institute's electricity program, focusing on Canada’s net-zero electricity grid goal, electric vehicle infrastructure, and regulatory reform for utilities.

Margret Nellissery

Senior Analyst

Margret is a senior analyst with BRC-Canada. She recently completed her master's degree in sustainable energy development from the University of Calgary. As a graduate student, she worked with the Government of the Northwest Territories to formulate a climate adaptation inventory focusing on strengthening the territory's energy and transportation system.

Senior Analyst

Guru is a senior analyst with the Business Renewables Centre-Canada, an initiative of the Pembina Institute. He is based in Toronto, where he focuses on developing strategies for achieving a net-zero electricity grid. Before joining the BRC-C, Guru worked with the Ecology Action Centre on phasing out coal in Nova Scotia, and on renewable energy development and international climate policy with the Energy and Resources Institute in India.

As Strategic Partnerships Lead, Sam works to grow and develop the BRC-Canada community. Sam holds a bachelor's degree in English and history from the University of Ottawa. Outside of work, she enjoys scary movies, travelling and waiting very patiently for the TTC.
