City of Edmonton
The City of Edmonton's Change for Climate is a call to all Edmontonians to take action and work together to reduce our city’s greenhouse gas emissions by 35% (below 2005 levels) by 2035.
Additionally, the revised Edmonton's Community Energy Transition Strategy and Action Plan was approved by Council in April 2021. It is an opportunity to re-imagine our city and the energy markets we will lead. This will require transformational change at an unprecedented rate.
